The Tapatio Springs Resort Texas Supergrind :: Race Information- March 3 & 4th Team Ortho / Sage Cycles will host race #2 of the TMBRA 2007 Spring Series. The race will be held at the beautiful Tapatio Springs Resort in Boerne, Texas. This will be one of the most exciting races of the season with the addition of new trail with even more climbing than before with a total of 1100 ft. gain per 6.5 miles lap. Last year racers complained that they wanted the infamous Col de Supergrind .. well, this year its back and along with it the addition of the Alpe' de Tapatio. The Alpe' de Tapatio is a long jeep road that equals the length of the Col De Supergrind but quite a bit more challenging. Super fast decents with some technical ledges make for this to be one of the funnest courses in Texas. Tapatio Springs is graceously hosting this raceTapatio Paydirt Opportunities We have had many successful weekends out on the trail but there is still lots of work to do. Don't forget .. for every 10 hours of paydirt done at the Tapatio Resort you will receive a yearly pass to ride this gorgeous trail as often as you would like. Camping will be avaialble Friday through Monday.The camping area will be near previous sites. The camping sites will be first come first serve. Trailers are welcome but no hookups will be available. Porta-potties are available. The 25.00 is all inclusive as this will include your land access and parking, per day.Individual camping fires will depend upon local laws at the time. All campers will need to check in at the hotel check in area, pay , be given land access proof for each day you would like to stay.

Tapatio Spring Resort TMBRA Room Rates We have worked out food and beverage that will include am/pm buffets, shuttle service throughout the resort, wireless internet, discounts on main dining area, parking and land access fees. All reservations MUST be made through Tapatio reservations at 1-800-999-3299. Rooms will be made available from Friday through Sunday. There are only 25 rooms available and 12 condos for rent. While staying at the resort land access(2days free for one night stay), parking, shuttle service(transport from resort area to race area, shuttle will run every 15 minutes), wireless internet, bike wash stations, access to buffets and discount on main dining room as well as shuttle to downtown Boerne and use of all the facilities on the property.

Room rates are:
119.00/night for single and double occupancy
139.00/night for triple and quad occupancy
350.00/night for condo/night this can sleep up to six, these are fully furnished condos with full kitchens, living room etc. Make your reservations quickly. Comparasions had been done over expedia, travelocity, hotels.com as well as looking at what is available along I-10 and there are some cheaper rates but when you factor in the additional land access per day x2 days for preride and race,commute, food costs, the inconvenince of staying off site you will see the Tapatio Springs is a real good deal.
